My work is my questions to others and myself. When the questions are difficult I need to think together with other people! This is why I like to see my jewellery as conversation pieces. I was born in Stockholm, Sweden, where I also work. My parents are from Finland and Madagascar. I have lived and studied a while in France and America, where I also have worked.

Hi Auli!
Such a small world! I was invited to this blog by Carol Rojo from Otro Diseño. I am not sure if you remember me, but I do remember you! I was a 1st year grad when you came to RISD for wintersession, along with Maurie Polak and Lauren Tickle who took your class at that time, if I am correct.
I am graduated a few months now and embracing the challenges of being an international emerging artist in the US. (I´m from Mexico).
I invite you to see my thesis work at the risd graduate gallery following this link : http://apps.risd.edu/ngallery/albums/277.aspx
I am so happy to find you involved in this project, it is nice to find familiar faces. I also am familiar with Andrea Wagner, I think she came to be our guest crit in one of the very first ones I had at RISD.
I have been assisting Tracy this summer in the fabrication of her pieces for her show at Sienna. It was a great first experience out of the academic field.
We worked close together with her Sweden pieces, and I was amazed by the intricacy of the fabrication process she was using there. I am so intrigued by that machine she was using to cut the resin chanels! Tracy is such a talented artist, I was fortunate to get to see and learn from her.
I´m very glad to find you and hope we have further creative blogging action
here!
